Terrible injustice has been meted out to this woman. This is not the kind of world that we should live in, a world where a human being can be treated like this, tossed around in unfair and biased trials, the results of which were not decided by facts, but by the emotions of jurors. She may not be faultless, but she has been treated far too unfairly, and the circumstances involving her conviction are ludicrous, and should not possibly stand in any fair court of law. This woman deserves to return to her motherland, even if only to serve the rest of her sentence near her family.

My name is Semih Benli and I live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Today I have been told Aafia's story and the subsequent torture and abuse she has endured. I am angry, disgusted and appalled by the American and Pakistani government to allow such Terror on an innocent mother no less to happen!!. I urge the lawmakers in the USA to release her. And I urge the Pakistani government to do all that it can to ensure the safety and release of Dr Aafia. I have one question to you politicians. The amount of horror and torture you have given this women is equal to Hitler!! Is this democracy? is this justice? is this the way you treat your citizens? is it!? I hope Allah the almighty will release her and I hope Allah grants her and her family the highest levels of Jannah.
