The following signed petition has been created as an appeal from patients and members of the community of the Alleghany Highlands to include the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Highland and Rockbridge in Virginia as well as Pochantas and Monroe Counties of West Virginia as a response to the loss of the services of Dr. James Redington from Bath Community Hospital. Dr Redington has served this community in an exemplary and professional manner in excess of 25 years.

We request the immediate full reinstatement of Dr. Redington both to the hospital staff and service of the Board of Directors of Bath Community Hospital as Chief Medical Officer.
