We began this graduate school journey together back in 2011 when we met at Northwestern Sociology's Open House for new admits. You went on to do amazing scholar-activist work at Columbia and have inspired me and so many others to do the same. While you were taken away from us far too soon, the impact of your life, friendship, mentorship, and scholarship will remain indelibly etched in our minds and hearts.
