Philip Klein Memorial Award
Over three decades Philip Klein served with distinction as Harcum’s President and as Chairman of the Board. His leadership was instrumental in creating the Harcum we know today. Upon his passing, his beloved friends and family endowed the Philip Klein Memorial Award, which is granted to a member of the Harcum community who fulfills the following criteria:
Dedication to the high ideals of Philip Klein
Demonstration of inspiration and creativity in his/her efforts
Provides outstanding service to Harcum students
And, through thought, vision, and action shows dedication to Harcum College

the look I got, over the glasses, for the baby opossums in the basket on a heating blanket, classic! loved the shirt style! and I still talk about IMHA vs AIHA because of him.
Some of my fondest college memories come from Dr. Wooters classes. There was one day I had to leave class early and he never let that down, so for 2 years he “teased” me about showing up for class and staying the whole time. It always made me laugh and I knew he genuinely knew who I was and was comfortable enough to joke with me. His classes were so informative and fun! Thanks Dr Wooters!
I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award than Dr Wooters! I learned so much from him during my time at Harcum. I still think of the little quirky things he said to help us remember things during my work day. He is dedicated to helping students reach their full potential.
Noone is more deserving. His heartworm lectures were so thorough that I felt that I could teach it.
1988ACM, he believed in me as a student and empowered me to be the best student i could be , coaching at it's best!
What a great person and educator. Please feel free to contact me. I wish I could be there for the event.

Dr. Wooters is an inspiration to the Vet Tech community. He is an awesome teacher. He is very considerate of our time and effort. He comes to class with Jemma ready to teach. I love Jemmas outburst during class. They both keep us on our toes through the class.
