Professor Bazett-Jones is a compassionate, hard-working, and remarkable educator. He successfully encourages a dynamic, interactive classroom experience while showing a contagious passion and enthusiasm for the subject matter he teaches. In the entirety of my six years at Carroll University, I never met another professor who I knew cared about not only my education, but also my health and well-being as an individual quite like he did. Professor Bazett-Jones is an undeniable asset to the Carroll University Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and I truly believe denying him the reward of tenure for his efforts is a grave mistake. I beg you reconsider for the future students of the DPT program.

I am not a DPT student, but I met Dr. Bazett Jones at a Pioneer Scholar function. You could tell he was very caring for his students & research and as I have many friend in the DPT program I have heard great things about him. This is a mistake.

I am a 1990 alumni and am proud of my daughter to stand up for this cause. This is very rare for her to step out like this, which tells me that this professor has had a significant impact on her schooling I completely support this cause.

There are not enough kind words I could use to express my gratitude towards DBJ! He is an amazing professor when it comes to teaching biomechanics, but he is so much more than that. Personally, he spent time with me helping me realize that my grades didn't define me as a person or as a physical therapist. He helped ease my fears during the transition from undergrad to grad school and always took time to talk, even if I wasn't in his class anymore. Losing a professor like DBJ would be a huge mistake and will be detrimental to the Carroll University DPT program!

My daughter tells me this professor is one of the best teachers she has had @ Carroll. I don't know why tenure was denied. However, if tenure is granted for excellence in teaching, please reconsider this decision. We chose Carroll based on it's teaching reputation. I hate to see Carroll lose a man who inspires his students.

It would be a huge mistake to let DBJ go from this program. He contributes so much to the DPT program at Carroll University. He has instilled many important values in my life today, not only as a physical therapist, but as a person as well.

Dr. Bazett-Jones is passionate about the subjects he teaches and that is so clearly reflected in his classes. Even outside of class DBJ has shown great interest in student success and I believe it would be a massive mistake for Carroll University to let go of someone so valuable to their grad program.

Dr. Bazett-Jones is a tremendous asset to the Physical Therapy program. He accomplishes teaching difficult material in a professional manner while remaining approachable. He is one of the few professors that I looked forward to meeting with for office hours. I knew that he cared about my success and was willing to take time out of his schedule to review things that were unclear. The words of a handful of unprofessional students writing course evaluations should not have been included in his consideration of tenure. The program will be at a loss without Dr. Bazett-Jones.

Letting DBJ go is one of the biggest mistakes that Carroll University could ever make. DBJ has challenged me in ways that I didn’t even know that I needed and because of him I am the student clinician that I am today. His classes were never “easy” but I learned more than I ever imagined possible. He will go above and beyond for any student of his, past or present, to assure their success.

Great intructor, cares for students, effective at his job while remaining friendly and relatable. A few students gave inappropriate and personally offensive remarks on course evals that reflect unprofessionalism on their part, not the part of the instructor. I only know because they bragged about it after. These opinions are not shared by the class.
