Electing Dr. Mohamed El-Baradei as President of Egypt
In addition to his international prestige, the history of Dr. ElBaradei reflects his dignity, authenticity, transparency which makes him, in my view, the best candidate for Egyptian presidential elections 2011. Dr. ElBaradei is married to Egyptian Aida El-Kachef and has two children. He studied law at Cairo University, earned his MA in International law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, and a JSD in International Law at the New York University School of Law. The Foreign Policy magazine have chosen him as one of the Top Thinkers of the world for year 2010 as he chose a more difficult second act in the public life by standing against the Mubarak regime. Dr. ElBaradei, the Nobel Peace Prize winner, headed the International Atomic Energy Agency for 12 years. Before the American invasion of Iraq, he declared that there was no evidence that Saddam Hussein had revived his nuclear weapons program, which did not endear him to the Bush administration, which tried to block his reappointment for his fourth term but China, Russia, Germany, and France supported him. In 2008, he announced that he would not seek a fourth term. If you agree that he is worthy to be our next President, sign!
