As an Organist myself, the Pipe Organ would greatly enhance the space. It would be a major loss for the community to not include one!

Central Florida deserves to have a concert hall complete with a world class pipe organ. I can't imagine a concert hall without one. In the early 90's, I attended many noon recitals at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas Texas and can still remember the first time I heard the orchestra with the C.B. Fisk organ. We need that in Orlando. We need to take it up a notch. That's what being the Entertainment Capital of the World is all about!

The pipe organ is a useful and important addition to any serious concert hall. It increases the potential versatility of the hall and gives people one more reason to come to events!

The pipe organ is not just an instrument, but a work of art. Throughout history people have chosen to include the King of Instruments as part of performing arts centers. WE must not look at just initial costs, but at the legacy we leave for others. Please include a pipe organ in your planning.

Make sure its a good digital organ. If its not digital, you will run into the same problems that every "pipe" organ runs into, and it wont be as effective as you think it will be. Make some good decisions.

A pipe organ is the most versatile of instruments. It only adds to the capabilities for the presentation of classical and contemporary music to the Dr. Phillips Center.

As a professional organist with first-hand experience installing the New York Paramount Wurlitzer in Wichita's Century II civic center, having an equally exciting pipe organ in a concert hall/theater setting such as Dr. Phillips Center would be a no-brainer! You have my vocal support!

The pipe organs is central to much of the music repertoire of baroque and included in much of the romantic music but there is also a large repertoire of jazz, blues and other music written for the _pipe_ organ. Any performing art center without a pipe organ is simply incomplete !!!

Please don't think you can wheel in a digital organ for the occasions when you need an organ. Digitals sound OK, but they're not thrilling. When you go to a concert, you want thrilling.

A pipe organ adds a whole different dimension to a theater or performing arts center. I know that my family is drawn to events that include pipe organ music. I can't imaging why you would spend the amount of money required to build a world-class center and leave out one of the most important elements that would make it truly world-class.
