Just because the park is new and fancy doesn't mean the should change the tradition of were the festival has been held for 16 years. The festival has done fine for 16 years downtown so why change now....?

Blue Plum has always been a great place for musicians to perform, both on stage and on the street. As a local musician I absolutely support the Downtown Merchants Association in this awesome decision. Thanks!

I think the decision to move the festival from the beautiful and "down home feeling" area of downtown JC is a huge mistake. Walking in the street, visiting with local merchants and enjoying the music (and dancing) in the street is the very essence of the festival.
