The new "April Fresh" Downey sheets are horrid - nothing like the old scent. There is no indication on the package that it is different, but I kept noticing a funny smell by the cupboard where I store my laundry supplies. I absolutely cannot use this new product because the smell is too artificial and strong. If the store where I purchased it will not accept it back on return, I will be contacting P & G for a refund. Please go back to the original "April Fresh" ASAP!

I just told my husband that I will not get Downey anymore because I thought it was just me and that my smell preference had changed or it was my imagination but I DO NOT like the new "fruity" smell.

The new april fresh downy is disgusting! We have stopped buying P&G products since they changed it years ago. Very sad that P&G has ignored their customers dissatisfaction and requests!

Just bought a new box, thought there'd been some mistake. Now in reading up on this, I am so unhappy with this change of scents in April Fresh. Have been using it for years. I am hyper-sensitive to scents and perfumes and the new smell makes my eyes water and nose itch. If it isn't changed back to the original scent, I won't be using Downy any longer. It's a shame, really

I grew up with April Fresh Downy always making the house smell wonderful. Now what is on the market is not the same wonderful smell. Please bring back our original April Fresh

I recently purchased Tide with a touch of Downy April Fresh which has only recently been sold in Australia. It has the best scent I have ever smelt in laundry products. So I decided to buy a bottle of ultra Downy April Fresh conditioner from America online. What a mistake! Its definitely not the same scent and I had to wash my clothes again to get rid of the smell. I have read online about how many people dislike the new scent so much and that it should be changed back to the original scent. I totally agree. PLEASE bring it back P&G.
(By the way its spelt Downy, not Downey!!)

Please bring back the original scent of April Fresh Downey. The new versions smell like cheap perfume and remind me of the odor of "new car smell" after getting a car washed. I miss the sweet, homey fragrance I used on my kids laundry since they were babies. Even they commented on how much they missed the smell
