CITY TORONTO,WINDSOR,MONTREAL,NEW YORK,DETROID WERE BILD FOR CARS.THESE ARE MOTOR CITIES DESIGN FOR AUTOMOBILES NOT FOR BICYCLES.IT IS HARD ALREADY TO PARK VEHICLES IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD,SO IT WOULD BE BAD IDEA TO GET RID OF 32 PARKING SPOTS ON DOWLING AVE., OR SURROUNDING AREAS.
HOW MANY BIKES DO WE SEE ON THE STREETS OF TORONTOIN THE WINTER TIME ? NONE !
DO BICYCLISTS HAVE INSURANCE AND KNOWLEDGE TO BE ON THE ROAD ???

It's already extremely difficult to find parking in the area on a daily basis. There are many wider, better options for a southbound bike lane than a street which is already limited in both parking and driving space.
