I have 3 generations of current family who have a passion for the trams, I would love all future generations to have the same experience and enjoyment. This is a part of all our heritage ( manx or from the main land) and should be saved.

I pay my Douglas rates and would have liked to have been consulted on such a huge decision! Why are they trying to get rid of something that makes the Island unique. I am so frustrated as if everything that wasn't making a profit was to disappear there wouldn't be many tourist attractions left.!,,

Dublin, Seville and Sark have their horse drawn carriages and I am sure there are many more. We on the Isle of Man can attract more visitors if we focus on our unique variety of rail attractions. With good sea and air links/accommodation/restaurants and attractions tourists will visit and spend helping a diverse economy. It is not very business-like or visionary to view the Horse Trams in isolation and not part of a bigger tourism picture.

Never never take away the image of the IOM people expect to see, it's part of Douglas culture, don't spoil the Island like the UK government have done with our culture and image tourist's expect.

You cannot create history over night, it take years. If you have history do not throw it away
What next , no steam train , t t or police white helmets or just no national identity
Stop ruining our heritage
ABSOLUTELY LUDICROUS TO SCRAP AN IMPORTANT HISTORICAL FEATURE
Save horse trams
