Given the recent failures of the COP and its current state;

Given the need for the COP to return to its founding principles;

Given the need for the COP to rebuild itself as a viable political force;

Given the fact that the Founder of the COP has a responsibility to assist the Party in rebuilding itself;

Given the fact that the Founder of the COP still has the ability to inspire and attract a large portion of COP members and supporters; and

Given the fact that the Founder can return stability and good governance and proven leadership to the COP -

We, members and supporters of the COP call upon Winston Dookeran to contest the party's upcoming Political Leaders' election (June 29th, '14) and to articulate the truth of what COP should be and must be.
