This is a petition from the anxious and desperate fans of the serials; Kayamath and Kasturi, which both air on Star Plus. We are extremely upset with the current rumors about both serials going off air! This news has been buzzing through the media for quite some time now, and as fans- we are extremely upset at the fact that our favourite show(s) may come to a sudden end! We have always been ardent fans of both âKasturiâ and âKayamathâ, and have been loyal supporters since itsâ inception. It is not fair to us- the viewers, who have been faithfully watching both shows, and have connected with the characters with such depth. To us, it is not just âa show,â it is part of our lives. Both Kasturi and Kayamath have great potential to stay on air for years and years to come. And there are plenty of reasons to support our thoughts! 1.The story line: The viewers fell in love with both shows because of the story lines. Be it Kasturi, where the millionaire, spoilt rock star Robbie falls in love with the simple town, middle class girl Kasturi. This simple love story won over the hearts of BILLIONS around the world! Be it Kayamath, where both couples; Milind-Prachi (who have a great public demand), or Neev-Prachi. The viewers literally fell in love with this show, the story of Prachi and her struggle of choosing between her husband Milind, who she later falls in love with, vs. Her best friend/first love, Neev. 2.Chemistry The chemistry between both Robbie-Kasturi (Shubhangi Atre and Karan Patel) and Milind-Prachi (Shabbir and Panchi) has been carried out beautifully. Not one person can deny the beautiful chemistry both couples share. We fans have fallen for both couples, and they have become part of us. 3.The TRPâs There is no denying that both Kayamath and Kasturi have had tremendous success! From day one, both shows have been ruling the TRP charts! Agreed, currently the TRPâs have been decreasing, but we can provide you with reasons why this has been happening. a)In the case of Kasturi- the show has been ruling TRP charts from the very first day! It has always been in the top 5 positions, until recently- when the show had been moved from the prime time daily slot, to the weekend slot. And that too- without any promotional advertisements. Because of this, so many regular viewers are not able to watch the show because they do not know about the sudden time change. But we can guarantee if Kasturi was advertised, or perhaps moved back to the daily prime time slot- it will go straight back to itâs rocking position, which is, in the top 5. b) For Kayamath, as a late night show- it has been doing a tremendous job! The TRPâs have always been high! The current story track has its viewers glued to the television set! The fans are waiting impatiently for the next episode! And like Kasturi, the show is not getting any promotional advertisements from the channel! All in all, if both shows received proper advertisements, then the TRPâs will increase automatically. Please consider our request, because for many of us- Kayamath and Kasturi are the only reasons we watch Star Plus. If either of the shows comes to an end, it will be the channel that suffers. Every show has its rough times as well as their good times. Keeping that in mind, we would please request you to keep both Kayamath and Kasturi on air, and we hope that you all do not disappoint all of us fans.
