"Microsoft ditches Windows Live Messenger for Skype" ...Wait what?
Word has it that Microsoft is planning to 'ditch' its 13-year running instant messenger, Windows Live Messenger (a.k.a MSN), come March 2013 due to a decline in users.

We're now attempting to acquire as many signatures as possible in a bid against the possibility of retiring WLM, as well as allowing users to actively voice their opinions and concerns.

Please dont do this Microsoft. So many memories of chatting with friends after school. Its not the same.
THEY DONT EVEN CARE ABOUT WHAT WE WANT. skype is buggy garbage that crashes every 5 seconds. bring back the winks and the nudges!
Total waste of time. Skype is bloated and annoying. Bring back the original.
Ugh seriously?? I dont want to switch. Keep msn alive!
RIP MSN. Best years of my life happened on there. Skype doesn't have the same vibe at all.

Skype is way too clunky and slow. Messanger had everything I needed and it was simple. Why fix what isnt broken?
