After countless attempts of the community reaching out to the developers/publishers of the "Call of Duty" franchise; Treyarch/InfinityWard/Activision; the response we've been getting hasn't been so pleasant. We've been seeing that they have no care whatsoever about what the community has to say. The supply drop system on CoD is ridiculous it's practically underage gambling and these Developers are pushing this new form of dlc hard, they are dropping new weapons and specialists within these supply drops and in order to unlock these specific desired items legitimately it can take you over 1000 supply drop openings just to get your desired item. The items that can be unlocked from this supply drops are Specialists, Camos, Weapons, Emblems, Taunts, and a few more that I might have left out. The reason I include InfinityWard here is because the system has been doing very well with sales volume and I believe they will be adding to CoD 2016 which they will be developing and releasing later this year in November.

The way the supply drop system works is:
You play online mp games and rank up with each rank you unlock a cryptokey. Saving/Adding up these cryptokeys can result in you being able to purchase one of two items on the Black Market. The twp items on the BlackMarket are as listed "Common Supply Drops for 10 cryptokeys, Rare Supply Drop for 30 cryptokeys. Although there is a quicker route, the Developers chose to make it easy for us the players to unlock all the desired items that would take us years of playing to legitimately unlock. By adding COD Points to the Xbox Marketplace where you trade your $$$ real life money $$$ for cod money in hopes to win the desired item through playing a slot machine gambling styled game. And thats not the worst part they don't let you sell any of your items either like you can on other games like Fifa series, or everyones favorite shooter at the moment Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This system is built just to make money and really not in the best interest of the community it should be eliminated.

A solution that has been though of is creating an Open Market for supply drops. An Open Market is a system where you can sell or trade those items you receive within that supply drop. Similar to the system in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. This is just a thought as stated earlier supply drops are not 100% confirmed but they are highly likely to be in the next CoD. If they do happen to add the Black Market to the next CoD and it happens not to be an open market I am not buying the game and I suggest you guys do the same. Heres why, you may not be willing to pay hundreds but there are plenty of kids with their parents credit cards charging away who will and going up against over powered weapons is never fun so if the system is messed up why support it.

That is just one of the problems that is going on with Call of Duty, heres another.

At one point in Call of Duty history it was a realistic game which covered different events, as well as came up with a story line during that era of time.

Since then the Developers of Call of Duty thought it was a good idea to switch it up and go into the future the community has been all over the place pro cod players quitting, YouTubers quitting, and tons of casual everyday CoD players are quitting with cod and losing hope on them. They are all following the direction of SledgeHammer games and honestly I don't know if its to see the sales volume first hand but it was a bad decision on their part. It is like the developers are turning Call of Duty into a totally different game. Why not just create a whole different franchise? Why tarnish one that has been doing so well? They could of made Call of Duty Vietnam, Call of Duty Hiroshima they should hire the top people in the community as the Community Manager and Game Designers (I know this will never happen but it would correct everything). There's something about hopping into a normal game of public match Team Deathmatch or Domination and feeling like I'm in a modded lobby jumping 20 feet in the air with thrusters isn't right. I know at this point in time not much can be done if they have already developed the game but what they can do is promise us classic CoD game types which follows the original pace that CoD is known and loved for having normal running speed, normal jump height, and if they add specialist or anything with a similar concept gamemodes in which you can toggle what you want to play similar to the award winning Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare's multiplayer settings on pc.

Many YouTubers have taken shots at these developers many of them having over a following of a million people this on the other hand doesn't give them an upper hand but simply helps them reach out to their like minded fan base.

The direction CoD is going in is horrendous but it can't change without the help of the community if you agree please sign this petition and share it with as many of your friends as possible as this is our only hope of restoring CoD back to its true roots. #MakeCodGreatAgain #Don'tBuyCod2016
