I saw this in the civil service many years ago, cleaning privatised , cleaners hours cut. inferior cleaning products, inferior cleaning, new tender, cost of cleaning awarded to lowest tender, cleaners hours cut further, products watered down even more, cleaning worse and continues in a downward spiral. What is the point in this exercise unless it is to worsen people’s employment benefits. You cannot give the same pay for the same job to an individual plus an element of profit and do it cheaper. The profit is made by taking money and benefits from the job holder.

The same is happening at Mid Yorkshire Trust. We will fight together to stop the fat cats making profits from our jobs.

Another step towards the total privatisation of the NHS. The public must join the fight to save OUR NHS. this step by Leeds is unfair to its loyal workforce and must be resisted on its merits but also as resistance to the long term plot which will leave the public without healthcare within the NHS.
