Mr. Gaeir is the very reason most students love going to granite hills and is such an asset to this school. He relates to the students on a personal level, allowing them to feel like someone's on their team. Losing Jake will not only be devastating to staff and student GHHS family, but it's also removing someone who passionately performs and models the morals and values of the school. It's a HUGE mistake to take someone who has helped create Granite Hills High Schools positive legacy and reputation. So please hear our plea of DONT TAKE JAKE!!

If this coach is an asset to these students and he is loved by them, why take him away. I bet the students are better young people with him there. Think about them and not yourselves when you want to replace him. It seems he is making the school a better environment for his students. If I still had a child in school there, you bet my bottom I would be at the district on a daily visit just to let you know he should remain as VP or principal. Don't you want t great person to lead these children into adulthood?

Keep coach as VP at Granite Hills High School. Because of this great man, teacher, coach and roll model, I tried harder, hosted my self esteem, had purpose and went further in life than I ever could've imagined.

Coach Geair was not only an amazing coach on the map but also a great teacher inside the classroom he was very inspirational and able to hold the attention of kids that didn't normally want to be in class not only could you come with him without signing concerns in your own personal life and he would give you his undivided attention concern and ways to director in the right path I always look forward to coming to his class into his practice I can only imagine the impact he has on kids now being in the position that he sits I would have loved for him to be my vice principal and be able to guide me in many more ways throughout my four years at Granite Hills High School

If coach/vice principal Gaeir wants to stay at Granite, that is his place. I was a troubled teen and while it may not mean a whole lot to others, Jake Gaeir made a positive impact in my life, while not many others made an effort. Between wrestling and science class Coach Gaeir had a knack for reaching the unreachable. Now as a 34 year old professional mixed martial artist, I look back and often give credit of my success, to my old high school wrestling coach. I don't know why anyone would cut such an experienced and valuable resource. I hope this signature helps. Wish I could do more than share it.
