Carl Pickering a local business man in a derelict northern town. Having met numerous people and business who received cheques but are unable to convert it to cash due to their limited access to banking facilities, Carl decided to set up a business to assist this community with this problem. After obtaining his license from the financial authorities and trading successfully for the last 10 years,his Bank decided to close down his business banking account with 2 months notice.
The loss of this facility would spell the end of his business and service he provides to this community.
The closure of Carl's business would affect thousands of people who represent the poorest in society who rely on the ability to cash cheques at a low cost.

I honestly never thought this many people would care about a small town business but you have all proved me wrong. It is truly wild to see so much momentum gathering for something I started just to help my neighbors because the banks decided to make life difficult for everyone. I am still processing this support while I figure out the next steps for getting this in front of the people at the bank who keep ignoring my calls.

banks are a joke they look after thier own but have no interest in supporting small businesses
This reasoning behind the closure of this established business is unjustified and needs to be prevented ASAP.
This is a nationa wide service not just to business, but to the general public, we cash cheques with our money, not the banks, the risk is mnimul for Money Laundering as we all have to have in place Money Luandering Policy, therefore no risk to the Banksc,
This is very unfair, it's difficult as it is to run a business with no support.
Scandalous decision typical of a bank that hasn't a clue what it is doing & what its role within the community is.

It's disgusting that the fat cat banks yet again try to crucify small businesses. without people like Carl who help people to get money as a result of the last few governments screwing our economy Good luck Carl my thoughts are with you
