I spoke with a few of you who feel just as embarrassed as I do every time those stiff ID photos pop up on our workspace screens. It feels like a small thing but having no control over our own digital identity here is genuinely draining.

Seeing the momentum grow just proves that I am not the only one who hates looking at those awful ID photos every single day. I am honestly stunned by how many of you feel the exact same frustration regarding this change.

Please take our pictures down on teams. I'm trying to do work and I cant even focus now because my face is just there on the screen and it gives me anxiety because of how horrible I look. I didnt give consent to have my picture up.
this is just really really stupid and it’s making everyone feel worse and more uncomfortable at a time where everything is already so difficult to deal with.
I’m a changed person. I refuse to join a lesson if my face is gonna be plastered on ppls screens
I am not exaggerating when I say I genuinely do not feel like turning up to my online lessons anymore, and that I'm sure some people won't. "safeguarding" ? "fraud intervention" ? how on earth does this help any of those things. why wasn't this then put in place a year ago if it was so important. does the college think we are still 12 and that they can say random big words in a sentence to make it sound like they've got an intelligent reason? they don't. bad decision.
This so ridiculous, we should have a choice about what happens to pictures of ourselves. We have a right to have our pictures removed entirely under the GDPR

A disgusting use of our photos. I don’t remember I, nor my parents consenting to my photo being plastered over teams. Completely ignorant and blatant disregard to those who don’t want their imagine plastered due to religious constraints either.
