A nice park near Round Elementary would be much more appreciated! You know...a place where the children of Manassas City could get some fresh air and actually be a kid. Forcing GMBL out and now any available green space is going to be for townhomes....shame on you!

Our schools are already over crowded. Adding more homes and no new school buildings does not make sense.

We purposely purchased in this neighborhood because of it feeling “out of the way” and less dense. We enjoy the trees surrounding us as well as the safety that we were seeking when we purchased our home. Townhouses will surely change the look of our landscape and bring more traffic at the intersection of Godwin and Hastings. Townhouses also tend to attract a transient type buyer. With this brings a high turnover of people and we will lose the “get to know your neighbor feeling” in this neighborhood area of Manassas. Also, the I ntersection of Godwin and Hastings is used by many of us to cross and walk the Winter Branch Trail.

Please do not allow this to happen. If you want to build this property out make it single family home with the same lot size and set backs as the surrounding area.

I do not approve of the overcrowding this development will bring, and the lack of a road-study and environmental study prior to this plan being adopted and this design is out of place in an established single-family-home area. Please vote NO to the rezoning request and the project.

We purposefully and intentionally purchased our forever home in a well established single family home neighborhood. We hope the City Council will put themselves in our position. We did not buy in a mixed use area. We did not purchase in an up and coming neighborhood. We feel personally violated that one person can rezone for greed and we are supposed to just learn to live with it. The property is zoned R2. He can build on it. It should not be rezoned to R3 to allow 28 town homes to be in my literal backyard. It doesn't qualify. It is surrounded by all SFH neighborhoods. Discussing the industrial land use down the street and at the airport is a stretch. Claiming the 1100 Micron jobs just as the Landings at Cannon Branch did is laughable. Our schools are struggling. Overcrowding is already an issue. This impacts us all in many negative ways. Please say no to this rezoning request and the Kings Landing project.

I agree, but how about no homes. The woods around my neighborhood are beautiful. Don’t remove them. Save our environment.

there is no need to put 28 town homes directly behind a children's elementary school. My daughter and I enjoy walking the cut through to the elementary school or just to walk down hastings because there's no sidewalk to get to hastings from winged elm.
