Don't Rezone! Preserve The Virginia Creeper Trail!

Need lots more info before jumping ahead!

Please preserve the integrity and history surrounding this trail.

NO rezoning efforts to be made until ALL environmental impact studies, traffic flow studies, and any other required studies necessary for this proposed project have been completed and all facts from these studies have been made public for their evaluation and subsequent comments by Abingdon's citizens during any ensuing zoning board meeting(s) held on this proposal.

Abingdon needs. This pastoral land the way it is.

Lots of farm land around exit 19. Food City should buy the shopping center where they are currently located. Do not rezone the Meadows.

Sad that history means so little to the Town Council of Abingdon.

The Creeper Trail is part of history and should not be commerical land.

Do not take this land for your development project.

Please do not develop this land... One of the reasons I've been to Abingdon, Va 3 times in the last 4 years was to enjoy the peaceful and beautiful scenery off Green Spring Rd and the creeper trail. People like myself are able to leave their crazy busy life behind when they come to Abingdon, by putting in a shopping plaza and noisy ball fields, you will ruin one amazing little historical town.

This can not be allowed! We need to preserve the creeper trail and the integrity of historic Abingdon!

Please do not spoil this treasure. This is what brings me to the area. The natural beauty and historical atmosphere is why I'm willing to spend money in the Abingdon area, not chain stores and super stores, that can be found on every corner.

Please don't trash the creeper tail area. Also I enjoy to come to Bed and Breakfast.

No rezoning! Leave the beautiful trail and the surrounding country side like it is. Thank you
