We are UNH students, employees, friends, and alumni who make up generations of Wildcats. We are proud of our athletic program’s rich tradition, built upon the legacy of the people who came before us. We believe that our heritage should be cherished and preserved as we move our program into the future. With the football venue undergoing a massive upgrade and expansion, it is believed that the university plans to rename the venue, possibly to “Wildcat Stadium.” It is unknown how or if William “Butch” Cowell and Andy Mooradian will continue to be honored. Cowell and Mooradian were two inspiring coaches who earned the right to have the stadium and field dedicated to them respectively. We ask the university to please continue to honor our legends, and keep their names associated with our football venue in perpetuity.
