65 Old Colony Rd There is no reason, when the population is roughly even split north/south of rt 9. , for there to be a disproportionate number of elementary schools south of this major barrier. The most equitable approach is to leave Upham intact to serve families in this area. In addition, it is an ideal location for an elementary school in terms of safety and accessibility.

I live in this impacted area and the impacts of this would be brutal on our family routine and would make us seriously reconsider Upham for our daughter who has yet to enter public school. This seems incredibly short sighted - not to mention dangerous.
