Don't Raise Parking Rates at Tennessee Tech

This is benefiting students at all. It's ridiculous.

Please don't do it.

The prices are too high for those of us who aren't even going to have access to the parking garage. We are used to the parking we already utilize, and basically, we are getting charged more for parking spots that are farther away.

I already pay $100 a semester for a fitness center that was suppose to be finished by my senior year and it's not even started on and I'm a junior this year. I'm not paying this amount for parking that I won't be using

I already pay a fee just to be in the nursing program; I shouldn't have to pay extra to park behind the building all of my classes are in, especially when I only have classes on campus 2 days a week.

Those prices are OUTRAGEOUS. The new parking lot is unnecessarily big. We don't need such a huge parking lot so we shouldn't have to lay through the nose for one.

Students that are going to be forced to pay these increased prices won't even get to use the parking garage. Tech needs to fundraise their money instead of stealing it from their students

I agree. This is absurd.

Raising parking rates doesn't help the students. We would have to pay even more to not find a parking spot? No.

This won't make parking better. The people who pay 155 dollars to park will only get to campus to find out they don't have a parking space. That's not fair.

Not every student is rich. Between tution increases and this I may not even be able to attend anymore. Would Tech rather lose all of my tution money or the money from this parking arrangement.

This definitely does not need to happen. TTU is money hungry enough and all this is fueled by greed.

I use to go to Tennessee Tech and the parking was bad then also. This want help either cause people will park wherever still no matter what color the tag is. Especially on days it is raining or snowing. They should just go ahead and build a parking garage.

This is ridiculous. Tech is getting even worse every year raising prices on everything. It just goes to show how college is all about making money off young adults instead of focusing on education and helping students graduate.

There are cheaper alternatives to fixing this issue, especially when a lot of us students are already struggling with increases from last year.

This is not cool.

Didn't even know this was a thing until I saw it on Facebook, Tech is really out of touch with its student base as of late.
