This is a serious issue the Church in India faces. Our educational institutions also unknowingly are promoting such practices. Interfaith marriages are also a cause of concern as it will lead to our future generations not believing in the One true God. An alarming sign and if the Clergy does not wake up to it now, we are doomed. The Clergy is more engrossed in making collections and such serious problems are put on the backfoot...God help and Bless the faithful...

The first Commandment is 'I am the Lord thy God, thou shalt not have strange God's before Me '. The commandments cannot be violated.

Worshipping, or even appearing to worship, false gods is a grave sin.

I hope the hierarchy sits up and introspects on the issues raised here.
St. Thomas, St Bartholomew, St Pantaenus, St Francis Xavier and all the others who toiled in this missionary land must be turning in their graves, over where the current leadership is taking the Church in Goa!
Here is a breakdown of some of the high words used in the petition, for the benefit of all:
Semiotic: systematic study of sign processes (semiosis) and meaning making
Religious Relativism argues that at least one, and probably more than one, world religion is correct and that the correctness of a religion is relative to the world-view of its community of adherents
Facetious: treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humour; flippant
Masonic relativism: For Freemasonry, no truth is definitive, intangible, or absolute.
Gaslight the faithful: manipulate (someone) by psychological means into doubting their own sanity.
Centrifugal: moving or tending to move away from a centre
Centripetal: moving or tending to move towards a centre
Jabberwocky: invented or meaningless language; nonsense.
