The fact that we needed a petition in the firstplace to deal with this is utter bs

Thanks for making this, hopefully this will make them stop their bs that is sexulising us when we’re supposed to feel “safe” x

The school skirts are expensive, we waste our money on them even though they fit no one ( Idk a single person that they actually fit) they don’t even make skirts that go to any normal sized persons knee yet they tell us off for it. I’m sorry but I think we all have better things to be doing with our time than being told off for something that’s not even our fault. If teachers are distracted by our skirts and our knees clearly they need help. Thank you for finally standing up for something like this!!

This honestly angers me so much and I'm glad someone has done something about it. I respect that schools want uniformity and a certain level of decency but the skirts that they are punishing us for are barely indecent exposure and are the skirts they have provided, and actually forced us to buy at quite high prices. Frankly the way this rule is being enforced is sexist and backward, if this is such a big deal why aren't shorts to the knee? How can we expect equality to ever be achieved if this isn't the way schools are influencing young people to think. If they bring out a longer skirt for like 30 quid I am certainly not buying it. Ok rant over

*i meant Ms Phull violating her own rule by wearing skirts above the knee, not staring at children's knees XD

If peopleare distracted by children's knees, I don't think they should be allowed anywhere near a school to be honest. I know for a fact Ms Phull often violates her own rule. Nice work, Katrina, for making changes for us girls. We will not be sexualised xxx

Correctly worn skirts should not be forced down by teachers. If this is in line with school uniform policy then the policy must be challenged. We do not live in the 1950s and should be respectful and progressive not restrictive. Dialogue improves understanding.

I think the time constraints, reasons behind the change and the ways in which this is being dealt with are all flawed.

I strongly support this, it is an issue close to my heart. The school children should not be treated like this!
