The Crown Prosecution Service should throw out the Iceland 'dumpster diving' case as it is not in the public interest to prosecute 'dumpster diving' for food, particularity without the support of the retailer.
Context: Police found and arrested three men 'skipping' the bins behind an Iceland branch in London. The supermarket did not call the police nor do they have any interest in pursing the case. Despite this, the Crown Prosecution Service "feel there is significant public interest in prosecuting these three individuals". This petition is to put pressure on the Crown Prosecution Service to throw out the case.
