You can not put chemicals into a small lake without having repercussions form the wildlife.

This will kill more than weeds and grass, pets and people are not allowed in the water for a week after. Some of your pets will die from this.

Really sad they would go to such an extent and try to destroy a ecosystem. Extremely selfish act by a bunch of careless individuals.

This is a terrible idea. I've seen firsthand how this destroys wildlife habitat. In a healthy lake, which Candlewood is, the weeds act as shelter and a filter for the wildlife. This is all being driven by rich people who want to turn the lake into their personal swimming pool.

This will destroy not only the algae and grass but most living organisms through inadequate habitat.

Nothing good has ever come from putting chemicals into a lake. Candlewood attracts fisherman from all over the country and you will lose not only this great economic asset but destroy a beautiful eco system.

This will ruin candlewood. I've seen it in jersey lakes that I've fished all my life and I will not fish them anymore.

I am strongly against allowing anyone to apply these chemicals to this or any other lake when this clearly destroys and will cause long term effects to all living things along with there habitat

Leave the lake alone, its natural, let nature take its course. Buy a swimming pool if the weeds bother you.
