We can't afford to take risks with the environment. The addition of chemicals is not a good idea; there are other options.

Look at lakes that have done this, they decline. You must take into consideration the affect this will have on the fish and the fishery in general, not just on those who wish to live on the lake

Do not use pesticides in Candlewood Lake! We need to protect the environment from these poisons and many people will get ill from exposure to them as well.

Putting chemicals in fragile lakes like this ruins fisheries. Fish rely on these species of grass and algae to preserve their populations. Similar measures have been taken here in Pennsylvania, and areas of our lakes that have been sprayed are absolutely depleted of wildlife.

There is no reason! Invest in more carp!! Not chemicals

This would kill many of the fish in the lake. This shouldn't be allowed to happen anywhere.

I wouldn't want my fishery to be cleaned out neither should anyone else

Leave the lake alone I drive 83 miles one way from New Jersey to fish this wonderful Lake. I make at least 25 trips up there every year I would hate to see a change.
