Sprouts, a West Coast company (now headquartered in Arizona), has come to East Texas and has brought their West Coast mentality with them! Although Governor Greg Abbott clearly included exemptions to wearing masks in public for those with medical reasons, Sprouts refuses to allow these customers in their stores. A little 8 year old girl with Down's syndrome was denied entry because she couldn't wear a mask. No other store grocery chain in East Texas is practicing discriminatory practices. Sprouts shouldn't either, but they are bringing their West Coast authoritarian and dehumanizing mentality to our region. Let Sprouts know that East Texans don't want a "California" type corporate mentality here. Let Sprouts know that their discriminatory practices will not be tolerated in East Texas! Let Sprouts know that you will not shop in their store until they change their discriminatory practices and abide by the governor's order, allowing medically exempt individuals to enter!
