Hello I've known Christine now for several years since before 2012 since before she was pregnant with both her children she has always been a sweet loving person to anyone who's coming to her life as soon as she became a mother I seen Christine grow up to be a better adult then she was before. Christine has always put her children before herself, she does everything that is ask for and I feel it is unfair what she is going through. There are many children that are becoming young mothers and they are not required to have a GED nor driver's license I think is unfair for you guys to takr children from their mother just to give it to somebody else when she is more than capable of taking care of herself and her children. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I really hope that you take into consideration about how it feels to be without your children for so long and feel like anything that you do is not good enough.

Let her have her babies back. Don't punish a mom that loves and wants her kids because of Pike County SHE's past failures. If you ask me that is what this is about more than anything else. Christine used to work with my daughter in law and her babies always looked well fed & cared for and I know she loves them. Plus, since when does have to have a drivers license or GED to be a good mother. I know people who have neither one. If DHS is going to require Christine have hers then you need to make all the other parents have theirs as well. Plus, the system needs to help her if that is a requirement but my guess is it's more of a copout on the part of the system!

I feel that Christine is being wrongfully punished by DHS they should have never taken her kids from her. She is a great mom. Even when she was off work with a broke leg and having surgery she still had someone helping with her kids.her mother is not crazy or mentally unstable I have known her for many years

No parent that is trying to keep their children should be separated, when the system as a whole is supposed to work with the parents and children to bring them together and enhance their quality of life together as a family. Some parents do struggle more than others, due to circumstance, finances and unfortunate situations... these programs that should be helping parents and grandparents with their children has been turned into a money making and money taking opportunity by our state, government, workers and those that have been put into power to help.. big epic fail.... laws need to change. Money reallocated..

Working with Christine, I see how much it hurts her to be away from her children. The DHS is treating her unfairly in threatening to take her parental rights away if she doesn’t get a GED or a driver’s permit, not all parents have both those things; they are not mandatory. She is a very hard worker and does what she has to to provide for her children. The people who work for the DHS know first-hand how horrible the foster care system is on kids, they should be focused on keeping kids with their parents instead of focused on keeping them away. Christine’s son is continuously acting out because of his diagnosis and, likely, because of the withdrawal from his mother. These kids want and NEED their mother in their lives.

This woman deserves custody of her children. The demands from the DHS dept in Murfreesboro are unreasonable in areas, she is not being represented fairly. Any citizen has a right to a fair trial, regardless of the case, she deserves one too!! She is the biological mother, and these children should have rights too.

Those kids need to be with their mother, not some stranger. We all know how messed up the foster system is.

To make a mother continue to go through objectives back to back with the goal not even obtainable is wrong! There are so many mothers that dont care for there children and do NOT have to deal with the heartbreak like Christine has to. Provide outpatient counseling, and leave her to continue bettering her life for her children and for herself. Help not take away!
