It is being reported that some legislators belatedly learned about the letter of the law that they voted on re: this bill, at which time, they expressed regret and other emotions they should act on via legal means.
That said, legislators need to be on record for having read the legislation they vote on as well as hearing from attorneys from both parties interpreting the matter - with those opinions entered into the legislative record.
But today: remove this egregious legislation!
Stop distancing the legislature from it's responsibilities before both the law and the people! Such laws are furthered either cowardly, ignorantly, and/or greedily.
This needs to be brought to a swift end.

Clean up our Voter Rolls! It won't get done until the People push the Oklahoma Legislature to Care. If they know the Citizens are watching they will pass good Election Integrity Laws with Teeth. (jail, $$$ fine).... and Stop ERIC before it gets started.

I / we are not willing to turn over our voting integrity to any outside source! This has a huge potential for Internet hacking and outright political corruption. I want my vote to count correctly!

I am very concerned that not only will all of our private information be shared with outside entities but it opens up illegal immigrants with driver’s licenses to be able to vote.

ERIC does not clean voter rolls, ERIC inflates voter rolls. ERIC identifies and regularly sends curated lists of people that are eligible to vote but have not registered.

ERIC needs to be de-funded - Stop it before it starts. Already other states have signed up and have withdrawn from the system. We do not need this much voter information in one place.
