I grew up swimming and jumping off the wall here, always felt safe and always enjoyed my time and memories their. I would hope to be able to bring my keiki to share in the memories I've had here. They are young but they share a love for the ocean and Hawaii as I do, this place is a landmark and a treasured spot to the locals and visitors alike it would be a sad day for All of Oahu if the demolition took place.

My friends and I enjoy the serenity and quiet beauty of the swimming hole infront of Shangri La and it wiuld be truly sad for it to be torn down.

This is a historical asset for the community! Tearing it down could have potentially adverse environmental impacts to the homes along the shore as the sea continues to rise !

These historic sites are an invaluable asset to our future. For Hawaii, its visitors, and the world. The price of upkeep/restoration will be dismal in comparison to the significance of this place. With the fast changes of Waikiki, it's skyline, and Oahu in general; it's important to keep landmarks for authenticity of place. For everyone.
