An issue as serious as this must be given to the public and local are/district councils for consideration long before anything happens. Everyone has a right to know exactly what is planned and how it will affect them - positively or negatively, and given time to raise questions about it.

The full intentions of Egdon at this site need to be honestly disclosed. It is not possible to obtain many years of useful production without several highly invasive i.e. fracking operations

It is imperative that the parish councils and the public are given plenty of time to consider these applications which are not straightforward in the sense that for oil to flow there will need to be 'stimulation' (and everything extra which that entails)

The public need sufficient time to consider the local impact of this exploratory work including the potential statutory nuisance (noise, light,dust increased heavy goods vehicle traffic) involved in such projects.

One minute it is not fracking if the volume is less than 1,000 cubic metres of fluid. Yet when they want to they claim there has been fracking done in the past yet those were neither high volume nor high pressure.

I am not a local resident but I am opposing all forms f unconventional gas and oil extraction in the British Isles. I am doing this because I have been studying the subject for more than three years and am angry at what happrns when these extractions are allowed.

Please do not rush this through. Let all your parish councils consult and respond first. You and your residents need to understand the process, it's hazards and the lack of sufficient regulation.
