After reading many reports about fracking and mineral extraction I feel it should not be undertaken. Leave it where it is and invest in clean, carbon free alternatives.

There is sufficient oil and gas reserves in the North sea to meet the UKs energy demands therefore I object to this for-profit application on the grounds it is both high risk and unnecessary.

This is another example of the fracking industry in "stealth mode". Step 1 (2013): sneak in an exploratory well while nobody's looking. Step 2 (now): upgrade it to full production. Step 3 (final destination, coming soon): dozens more wells in the same area to suck out every last drop. It all starts with just one well. Stop this now or wake up tomorrow to an industrialised countrside!

Having spent two years looking carefully into this industry my conclusion is that it cannot be regarded as safe.

Fracking represents new, unconventional fossil fuel extraction. It will undermine our local and national commitments to tackle climate change and therefore should not be given consent anywhere in the UK

To honour the commitments the UK government made at COP21 in Paris to keep global temperatures below 2 degrees, we need to stop extracting fossil fuels and commit to 100% renewable energy NOW, if we are to stand any chance of preventing catastrophic climate change.

This is a momentous decision for North Lincs Planning Committee and we urge you at the very least to enable a thoroughly comprehensive consultation.
Please extend the Consultation Phase for MIN/2016/810 [and the attendant application for Borehole Monitoring at the site]
The people of North Lincolnshire as well as all the statutory consultees need to be fully-informed about this unusual type of fracking proposed for the Wressle Well.
This kind of high pressure hydraulic fracturing combined with hydrofluoric acid injection [horizonally 2.5km deep] brings endless risks and repercussions for local communities and wildlife habitats. (and wider impact too in terms of Climate Change and fresh water security) It is impossible to safely regulate.
It is also economically high-risk at a time of such geopolitical uncertainty.
Thousands upon thousands of people across the country will be watching your consultation and deliberation processes.
I very sincerely ask that you please extend the consultation phase and ultimately please do not take a retrograde path by sacrificing North Lincolnshire to the Fracking Industry.
