Don’t push The Beach Boys out! They are crucial to the sense of place in Waikiki, and maintaining local culture and traditions.

I stand with the Hawaiians that say auwe and a’ole. If you have any dignity and compassion you would not let this happen. It is a travesty.

My 2 cousins are beach boys, they're basically my brothers. I'd HATE to see their success as beach boys to just be "Thrown away". This isn't right for someone to just come out of left field and make a buisness by throwing away what was obviously there longer than they were, and for them to actually believe that it's "okay" to do this just shatters the Aloha in me. Makes me feel like hawaiian culture is dying faster because of how our concrete jungle is progressing. I love you Hawai'i, may the Duke be with us at this time.

The bidding for these stands should only be ever and forever given to Hawaiian watermen
And local groups that will actually perpetuate the teaching of our sport and culture in a way that people from outside how I could never ever understand or do correctly
Keep it local or lose it all
