I don’t understand everything that is going on but please preserve our culture and give local Hawaiian jobs they deserve.

It's about time our city, state and government show some respect to the locals. This movement is a birthright and who better to teach surfing than its locals. Wouldnt it have a better look for Hawaii and its tourist economy if its natives were its instructors? This is a simple fix for the politicians. Politicians, city and state officials please step up! When I was a little girl my first lessons were taught by The Beach Boys. I’m now 30 years old and the same aloha spirit and culture is still present!
Please keep hawaiian lands in hawaiian hands. Already Hawaiian lands are being taken from locals that are limiting our abilites to teach our children the value of culture and respecting the aina. Hawaiian lands repect the land and continues to share their knowledge through
Aloha and keeping the generation going. Dont take it away if you dont lile what you see there are other states and countries to choose from.
