Keep it in Hawaiian hands no outsourcing from someone who has NO clue on the culture . If this man opens up his compnay I fear for his life and future and that’s real talk! You can’t mess with the balance of the islands and the Aina!

I was born in Oahu and lived there till I was 6. I miss it every day. And some of my fondest memories are from there. The Hawaiian ppl (the real Hawaiian ppl) have been pushed out of their homeland since forever and their culture taken and used for money. I pray that ppl learn to respect each other’s worlds not use them for profit and then disrespect and throw the ppl away like trash.

I love my home too much to let all of it become modernly colonized. Keep the Hawaiian culture alive.

Waikiki doesn't need more unfamiliar faces. I support this cause for the local people who work so hard to stay in Hawai'i.

People that come in and take away a tradition for pure capitalism is nonsense. Let them stay, they bring the X factor that a "branded company" can not. They know the surf, the water the way of the ocean, why take that away from new clients and guests. It's not always about money, it's about providing people with perfect way to experience something without feeling unsure!
