This is unacceptable. How much more does this government want to take from us? Will this continue until all of Oʻahu and Hawaiʻi is a tourist theme park with no place for locals? Enough with the destruction of culture and rampant gentrification. This is sickening. Waikiki already doesn't look like it did from my own childhood, I can only imagine how our kupuna feel seeing all this. Shameful.

How can someone who’s only owned ONE surfboard in his whole life, expect to take over BEACH BOYS who’s been teaching our Keiki and visitors how to surf for GENERATIONS?! Typical rich MF !!!

I just don’t understand.....the disrespect to the Ohanas, the culture, the selfless people who take care of the Aina and who continue to pass down the Aloha and Stories to future generations....... I guess that no longer matters unless one is entertaining “them?” ..Don’t succumb to “them who destroy” and Keep Your Heart Full of Love...no one can take that.....Come Together Always..

It’s sad to see hawaii falling apart and the government is doing nothing about it because all they care about is the money. So much for aloha. Let’s bring the aloha and Ohana back together and support what we as the people care about

Beach Boys have been there for as long as I can remember. Waikiki has lost its cultural significance in order to “sell” a commercialized version of what Hawaiian really is. Enough is enough! A Beach Boy isn’t the guy with the deepest pockets... it’s a culture mixed with the love of the ocean and sharing the love truly, honestly and sincerely. Don’t take The Beach Boys away!
