I visited Hawaii a few years ago, and fell in love with the beach life. I hate to see it go. It's what visitors like me come to see and experience and enjoy.

The Beach Boys of Waikiki are essential to the safety of everyone on the beach. In addition to experience it is their aloha spirit that goes from generation to generation of beach boys and guests of Waikiki beach. Please don’t make this mistake.

As a local and as a lifeguard, we need to keep these practices in local hands. Too many locals being pushed out of our own home by foreign investment. Not pono. Keep the culture alive for Hawai’i nei. Keep The Beach Boys!

I am frequently in Oahu and The Beach Boys are always great for helping beginners with surfing and losing this tradition would be devastating.
