Please don’t take away this beutiful tradition. The Waikiki Beach Boys are apart of Hawaii’s history that is slowly disappearing .... it’s like when we all watched the Haleiwa theater be torn down to put up a McDonald’s . Please help to safe some of the romance of old and culture that is still left in this world!

The Beach Boys made Waikiki and hawaii special. The same beachboy that taught my dad and his brothers to surf taught me and my brother. Alex was his name. Some of my best memories where going surfing with Alex when I was a kid. That’s what made hawaii special to me. Heart breaking if they can’t go on...

I learned to surf at Waikiki when I was 12 years old and the Beach Boys we’re pivotal in teaching me the proper etiquette and respect in surf culture that has influenced me the last 20 years of my surfing. Keep the tradition alive and help preserve true surf culture for the benefit of all that visit Hawaii.

Can’t believe they want to get rid of an iconic Hawaiian legacy by removing the Beachboys. For many travelers it was were they learnt about the ocean and learnt to surf. They are Hawaii. Aloha
