Pls don’t let ppl from outside the islands come here for the simple reason of profiting off our islands. All the while not caring about or being disrespectful to our history and culture. This man obviously has no ocean knowledge, and is simple out to make money.

"They" are continuously changing things. More buildings, more malls, just more. Somethings should stay the same. The style of whats been there for years is working. Just leave it be.

I'm from Waialua and don't normally surf town side. But I recognize the impact the Waikiki beach boys has had on the surfing and waterman community.

I'm a 5th generation Waikiki beach girl. And although my dad was in the military and moved a lot knowing I could come home to the stand on Kuhio beach alway gave me comfort. As Hawaiians we lose a little more of our selves everyday, please don't take what little We still have.

Set residency requirements and surf instruction experience specific to Waikiki in order to bid on this contract.

The only way to get the true feeling of Hawaii is to keep the Waikiki Beach Boys. Getting rid of them takes away that Aloha spirit everyone is looking for. Let them stay!
