This looks like a perfect spot to learn to surf. The surf shop is in a very convenient location here. I don't see many divers or diving boats around. You know what the right decision is

Our beach boys are a huge part of the Waikiki experience. These guys are experienced watermen with respect for the ocean. We don’t need someone with no experience or respect for the ocean to come here and destroy what’s already been deteriorating by the other inexperienced rich kids who have come to Hawaii wanting to capitalize off of “paradise”. Pretty soon this won’t be a “paradise” and all these rich kids are going to invest their monies into the next get rich scheme and we’ll be left cleaning up the mess they left behind. Trying to salvage what’s left of this beautiful island we call home.

My dad used to roll with the Beach Boys back in the day. It'd be a damn shame that they disappear because of someone stepping in and breaking the tradition of ALOHA that the Beach Boys have perpetuated throughout the years!!!!! #SaveTheBeachBoys #SaveWaikiki #SaveTRADITION #SaveAloha

The necessity over having a “contract” run Waikiki beach activities will ultimately end in the same operation being run by the Waikiki beach boys. Being born and raised as well as an avid traveler, I would much rather have the locals run the beach operations. Not only because they are born and raised but from being there all their life gives them knowledge of that beach that outsiders will never posses. Personally I would rather get educated about surfing and fun activities to do on Oahu from someone with knowledge and skill over someone who saw an opportunity to capitalize on.

We can’t keep allowing people that don’t understand our people and culture just set up shope. We keep taking away from our own we soon won’t have anything. Waikiki has already drastically changed too much and not in a good way. So please let’s not take it any further

It’s a Hawaiian tradition. These families have given their live to uphold that. It’s proven through countless of videos that they have been there since day one. Stop changing our history for corporate greed. Enough is enough!

Please don’t replace the Beach Boys, ever since I was a kid they were always in Waikiki. They aren’t just a buisiness, they’re a part of the culture that we have set up in the heart of our tourism industry. No outsider should replace what we already have just becausr they have more money and are willing to pay more just to replace them. Please don’t take a part of what makes Waikiki; Waikiki.

This new company needs to get shutdown before they can even open. Stop taking over Hawaii and everything that is valuable to us, including the Waikiki Beach Boys
