I stand by The Beach Boys. It’s imperative to keep the tradition alive and have real deal instructors and people that life the hawaiian lifestyle represent the islands by running an amazing business that The Beach Boys operate.

Allowing this inexperienced person to take over is a huge mistake and sounds dangerous. Selling out is never a respectable option.

If the shop has been there this entire time, why change it? Hawaii I supposed to have this laid back, relaxed vibe. Uniforms on a beach? That’s not The Hawaii I know. Let the guys who have been running it continue to run it. They’ve done it for years and I’m sure they will continue to do good in running it.

Tourists like born and raised locals not mainland outsiders. I’m a tour guide I’m always hearing how it’s so commercial and they don’t like the new corporate waikiki. Keep our culture alive.
