Being from Hawaii we grew up respecting the ocean. I was a beach boy for two years in Waikiki and it was the best job I ever had. I wouldn't want to see the culture and spirit of the beach boy be taken by those that have no idea of what it means.

Uncle Lenny let me and my friends go surf plenty and always told me to keep up my grades. Just want to give back to the surf community as a surfer myself.

There is a real problem here. Can’t you all see it? Whats up all of you who have the opportunity to fix this. It is wrong ..... what has happened here. And. .......honestly and emotionally right for The Beach Boys. What the heck would Waikiki be without these guys anyway. The Beach Boys have been on this part of the beach ever since i remember when the police station was the huddle. I was there as a kid.....You are kidding me...... They will be selling tours or things to do etc .....bothering people on the beach. There is certainly enough of that with hotels and travel agents etc etc etc. you are ruining Waikiki. You really are. And......what do you think of these guys who have been down in the beach for 30 40 50 Years and some maybe more. I am so sick to see this even come to play. WHAT WOULD DUKE THINK OF THIS NEW “plan”. This needs to be stopped. Someone somewhere made a huge mistake. Looks also like a lot of greed to me here . I’m staying tuned .
