1st of All, Hawai‘i people need to stop voting for the same idiots in politics. They only care about money and greed. These Beach Boys are iconic both historically and culturally to Hawai‘i (people forgot about films like “Blue Hawai‘i”). We need to support them!

Honor & respect are more important than money. Shame on Brian Benson & the city of Honolulu for disrespecting Hawaii and it's people

Before WWII, my father was a beach boy and I was introduced to the ocean by his beach boy friends. They are Hawaii. Hollywood stars, young children, military members, vacationers from around the world, and local children all were greeted with genuine aloha and warmth by these icons of Waikiki. People ask where are the Hawaiians for they see so little of it on the island of Oahu. But there, if they look, are the beach boys. At least for now.

The locals have know the waters. Keep it local! We deserve to keep our traditions alive and our culture alive. No more with the corporate world rich kind folk with money taking our jobs our lifestyle and our land! WE ARE NOT A RESORT! This is our home!
