I grew up in Waikiki Beach in front of the Reef hotel as my grandmother ran a snack shop below the Shorebird. My uncles on the beach always took care of us. To see these watermen lose their way of life. It would also be a disservice to those visiting Waikiki to not have people who are knowledgeable about our culture on the beach.

We have all worked together in the Beachboys sprit on Waikiki although we are different companies we always worked together! We never made waves! Don’t make waves! I hope this is just a junk bad wave that goes by without any of us falling off!
