This is truly the only spot for wake sports in Lake Havasu Left. There's over 10 miles of river perfect for wake sports just north of this area which has been previously been buoyed as a "NO SKI" area. Those same 10+ miles are still open for fishing & kayaking? We're just asking for the last mile not to be taking away.

The river mouth ride spot is one of the beast and safest places to ski I've seen on a public lake!

This is one of the only safe spots left on the lake for water sports . To have it taken away without any notice or public hearing is a true disappointment.

This is one of the best spots on the river to wakeboard and wakeskate. There have been numerous hand-made rails put into this awesome spot to promote the progression of the sport. Let's keep it that way.

I was raised and learn to ski in that area of Lake Havasu. Now I'm a resident of our community and have been for 15 years, raising my own family with two boys. that is one of the safest places for young kids to learn to ski but also one of the better places for all water activities. It would be a huge shame to make it in the winter. they have taken away so many parts of our lake, they need to keep please response like this or children in danger in the areas of the lake. Kayak can go up the river or start. Lake Havasu has been a poutine resort town for years not a kayaking one. I do enjoy kayaking myself however more money is brought in from voters and boating to rest than any other.

wakeskating/boarding is completely unsafe to do in the open water. May because of drunk Tourist who do not know how to properly control their vessel. My family and I have used that spot for a long time. That's when my nephews learned how to ride. It's an asset to the locals.

Kayakers already have spots designated for their use. No need for yet another.

EVERYONE deserves to enjoy the lake for all that it has to offer. Its completely obsurd to reserve the calmest and safest places for the rights of the smallest groups to enjoy. Please stop the madness and the favoritism.

Tho I can't perform a lot of the above mentioned water sports. It would be a shame to close off more of the lake to them. After moving back to Lake Havasu after being gone for 20 years. I was surprised and taken back by how much of the lake is now a no wake zone. Don't restrict more of the lake. It will hurt the popularity and economy of the lake and town.

As they say, if it isn't broke, don't fix it. That applies to this area being shut down. It's a great protected area to ride and has been so for decades. Why change that now?

Keep this area so the kids have a safe place to learn to ride.
