People go to Deep Ellum for the bar scene. These parks will only attract homeless people. and Crowdus is a VERY important street for most of the bars in the area.

I've been going to Deep Ellum since I was about 16. The culture attracted me because of its varied and unique elements. Please save this so that my children will one day be able to visit what I would definitely refer to as a "Dallas Landmark". It is not just about drinking or clubs. It is about a way of life.. Uniting Dallas...Creating atmospheres for like-minded individuals to create art, play music, dance, eat, etc.
I have Family in Boston who have nicknamed their basement "DEEP ELLUM" w a sign proudly presented. Proof of the wide outreach this beautiful neighborhood has - not only on us, but for all to enjoy.
