This petition is for those who are unable to attend the public input meeting on April 25th but still wish to have their voices heard and express their support for soccer fields with proper lighting and accessibility at the new park development (West Metro Core) at Levin Dashiell Rd in Hebron, MD.

We, the undersigned, urge Wicomico County Recreation and Parks to prioritize the inclusion of soccer fields with proper lighting in the new park development at Levin Dashiell Rd in Hebron. The removal of soccer fields at the Henry S. Parker Complex has left our community in need of accessible and well-equipped soccer facilities. Although we understand that multiple plans may be presented at the upcoming public input meeting on April 25th, and we have not seen the plans yet, we want to ensure that our concerns are heard. While we acknowledge the strong support for additional baseball and softball fields, it is crucial to address the growing demand for soccer fields in our community. By signing this petition, we show our support for a park plan that includes soccer fields with adequate lighting and accessibility for all, ensuring a fair allocation of resources for the diverse sports interests within our community.
